O uso do smartphone nas atividades acadêmicas: a percepção dos discentes das ciências sociais aplicadas de uma Universidade Federal

Resumo

Muitos discentes estão utilizando a tecnologia móvel, como por exemplo o smartphone, e essa tecnologia está mudando a maneira como esses aprendem. Assim, o objetivo deste estudo é verificar como os discentes dos cursos de Administração, Ciências Contábeis, Ciências Econômicas, Comércio Exterior e Tecnologia em Gestão de Cooperativas, de uma universidade federal percebem o uso do smartphone nas atividades acadêmicas por meio do TAM2. Foi aplicado um questionário na amostra de 596 discentes. A análise foi realizada por meio de estatísticas descritivas, análise fatorial exploratória e equações estruturais. Os resultados indicam que a Intenção Comportamental sofre influência positiva das seguintes variáveis: Facilidade de Uso Percebida, Utilidade Percebida e Norma Subjetiva. Quanto a Utilidade Percebida, essa pode ser influenciada positivamente pelas seguintes variáveis: Facilidade de Uso Percebida, Norma Subjetiva, Relevância para o Trabalho e Qualidade de Saída. As principais contribuições estão relacionadas a ideia que os discentes aceitam o uso do smartphone para as atividades acadêmicas, e o docente pode planejar as suas ações acadêmicas contando com o smartphone como uma ferramenta fundamental para o processo de ensino aprendizagem, que permitirá uma maior mobilização dos estudantes no desenvolvimento de suas atividades.
