Abstract

Focuses the education of metacognitivas strategies of reading in the course of Specialization in Management of Units of Information, during the first part of it discipline “Representation of the knowledge and the information”. The focus was basically on the relation among cognition, metacognition, concept building and representation of information. It evidences the importance of a permanent reconstruction of knowledge and attitudes leading to the perspective of possible trends towards the formation of the information professionals in order to incorporate the changes that will be able to compose a new profile of this professional.
