“A life story in the class struggle”: Irma Othar’s political career, 1943-1957.

This article analyzes the trajectory of Irma Othar. It sheds light on the relationship between work, politics and gender. It is structured from a biographical perspective, considering the results of research and aspects. One of them, which makes historical subjects visible, goes beyond a hagiographic reconstruction and seeks to analyze the relationship between identity, subject and practice from a relational perspective. The second considers that this life story introduces a series of divergent elements in relation to existing interpretations of the period in which it will be focused (1943-1957).
