Resumo

Este artigo examina as diferentes conceituações sobre assédio nas ruas existentes em dois
corpos teóricos, a literatura feminista e a literatura sobre crimes de ódio, que nos apresentam nós críticos que dificultam a compreensão desse fenômeno. Esses nós críticos são expostos e revisados. Propõe-se neste trabalho que, a despeito desses nós, ambos os corpos teóricos apresentam elementos que enriquecem sua capacidade explicativa sobre o fenômeno do assédio nas ruas. Este artigo propõe uma reconceituação do assédio nas ruas baseado na união dos dois corpos teóricos mencionados. Este trabalho contribui para o debate sobre o assédio nas ruas, e mais amplamente sobre a violência, colocando a teoria da interseccionalidade no centro da análise.
