Abstract

This work explores the courtship as link of initial eugenic intervention. So, we will focus in the Latin World and, specially, in Argentina. In this context, we can notice about the direct influence of the Catholic Church and its backing to the variant of the “Galton’ science” that was organized around the Italian biotypology created by Nicola Pende, a fascist endocrinologist. We think that from here must be interpreted the courtship’s biopolitic that was instituted in Italy, Spain and in Argentina during the XX century.
