What is the impact on the health of the Brazilian worker caused by industrialization? To answer this question we use the indicators of worker safety and the worker's health, both developed by the authors, and the index of complexity to the relevant economic indicator of industrialization. To fulfill the objective and check the above two dimensions describe the problem in terms of Brazil and comparing each federal unit in the period between 2002 and 2012. We hypothesized that the increase in the number of cases of work accidents is directly influenced the increasing industrialization of the country. Quantitative methodology was used, with technical descriptive and inferential statistics, with data collected in databases as DIESAT and IPEA. The results indicate an association between the number of accidents with industrialization, showing a diluted impact in the states of the federation, directly related to the degree of industrialization more or less.
