Abstract

The aim of this paper is to study Adolfo Bioy Casares’ novel “La invención de Morel”, where artistic creation - in its widest connotations - appears to be not only a thematic motif, but also a symbol of discourse. It is supposed to demonstrate how deconstructive narrative mechanisms, mirages and reduplications lead to questioning the ontological status of the narrator, the receptor and the test itself.
