Abstract

http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/2175-7992.2016v23n1p22

The present article intends to discuss the consequences of Nietzsche’s death of God and the Foucault´s death of the Man to the notion of subject in the avant-garde. We intend to discuss as well a more complex question: what function is left to the author concerning characteristics of the avant-garde such as allegory, montage, chance and impersonality?
