Abstract

Based on a polemic round the trip of some representatives from Santa Catarina to Brasília in sense to participate at the National Conference of LGBT community, this essay discusses the establishment of a reclaimed society, whose claims for recognition. The spoken freedom and the behaved autonomy bring us some concerns to be considered: what do give support to the live and the subjectivity of these individuals? What is in opposition? Are there real fights for resistance? Or do we live in eternal binomial oppositions? This article concludes that beyond Santa Catarina LGBT community and their incipient actions in the local landscape (which wasn’t prepared for a wide discursive representation), it is essential to consider a very well structured discourse about LGBT Rights, which one could give the real attention to the sexual and gender diversities all over the country. Key-words: LGBT Community – Policies of Recognition – Gender studies
