Abstract

This article discusses the relation between visual arts and cinema in the work of artist Hiedy de Assis Corrêa, better known as Hassis. For that, the representation of motion in his pictorial production, from the concept of montage developed by Sergei Eisenstein. Emphasizes in equal ways on the extension of their research within a filmic context where are exploited, through technical manners, new modes of perception that aims to overcome the narrative conventions. Electing the dynamics of shape, are articulated assumptions of artistic production and the area of audiovisual, bringing his films from experiences through the historical vanguards and underground cinema.
