Freud, Foucault and psychopathology, about cultural sexual morals and modern nervousness

Abstract

Following Foucault, Freud reading goes beyond taboos and repressive mechanisms. This paper analyzes the essay "'cultural' sexual morality and modern nervousness", published in 1908 by Sigmund Freud, it runs some aspects that converge in a version of sexuality that forces the subject to speak and construct a truth about himself.
