Abstract

It is understood that the statements of graduates offer a variety of perceptions of their experiences and they express part of the identity of the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in the Human Sciences (PPGICH). To understand this identity, the study presented a central question: how were the theses in the program prepared? The objective of this article is to understand the discourse of the graduates concerning their experiences in preparing their theses in the PPGICH. The study took a qualitative-exploratory approach, with the goal of obtaining a statement about the “Interdisciplinary Experience in their Thesis Preparation” from those who graduated by the year 2007. The data collection used a questionnaire sent by e-mail to 75 graduates, of whom 16 responded. Ten broad issues in various categories were identified.
