Abstract

Human being lives of utopia. In the Jewish-Christian or western tradition, after centuries believing that we descended from a complete Man, created like the image and similarity of gods or of the perfect and perpetual God, we know, today, that we are animal among animals. Despite the evidence of the fact, we still want to believe that we are one another category of being. These article brings one brief history of the ethics and a discussion on its possibility, dealing with seven of its forms: the reason ethics and its counterpart, utilitarian ethics and the one of certainty, discursive ethics, responsibility ethics and, finally, the finitude one.
