Abstract

This article aims to analyze the educational formation during the Edwardian Age (1901-1910) in the analysis of the novel Maurice by E. M. Forster. The historical and the patriarchate interfere in a story that seems to be focused on microcosm of interrelationship patters; however it allows us to have a broad view of the English Society at that time, its contractions regarding social stratification and sexuality.
