Abstract

This article discusses the presuppositions for the upbringing and
performance of the German-Portuguese translator in Brazil. The considerations point out some divergences in the translator’s upbringing, and discussing them. The main issue of this article is considering what extent translator’s upbringing should coincide or not with that one from foreign languages’ students.
