This article is a study on the Chinese geopolitical perspective of international relations. The study presents the view of Chinese thinkers on the tightening of Chinese American relations. From the traditional thinkers of Chinese thought applied to the Modern Theory of International Relations, cultural idealism and moral realism are contributions and concepts that are not very deep in the West that can respond to China's projection as a world leader. The research analyzes China's stance in the scenario of strategic competition with the United States and the possible impacts of the pandemic in the pursuit of the Chinese dreamReferences
