Flora da restinga da Ilha de Santa Catarina<p>Material Suplementar: Carta Chorographica do Município de Florianópolis

Resumo

A flora da Ilha de Santa Catarina é deveras impressionante, tanto pela sua exuberância como pela variedade de espécies, e só mesmo quem a pesquisou, pode aquilatar sua riqueza. Por mais explorada que seja, sempre nos dará motivos para temas e dentre eles, o que ora apresentamos. Procuramos neste trabalho, registrar as características da vegetacão existente na restinga da Ilha de Santa Catarina, oferecendo um quadro geral dos agrupamentos mais importantes, condicionados pelo meio ambiente onde estudamos a vegetação que se desenvolve nas areias e zonas de elevado teor salino, procurando registrar também, por estar intimamente ligada, a vegetação das zonas rochosas e das lagunas.Vai exposto como procedemos para levantar as espécies existentes, sua abundância, bem como, seu desenvolvimento, onde podemos constatar a influência marinha e do solo arenoso como fator preponderante, desempenhando o clima papel de menor importância.

Abstract

Only one has researched the Island of Santa Catarina with its impressive flora, as for the exuberance as well as for the variety of species, can evaluate its richness. In spite of all exploitation, it will always give reason for new topics, and among them, the one now presented. We have attempted to register, in this work, all the characteristics of the existing vegetation in the sand bank of the Island, presenting a complete table of the most important groups, subjected by the environment where we have studied the vegetation developping in the sandy plains, and areas with high contents of salt, also listing, due to its relationship, the vegetation found in rocky areas and the lagoon. It is also stated how we have proceeded in the uprising of the existing species, its abundance as well as its development, where we can see the marine influence and of the sandy soil as a main factor, being the climate of less importance.
