Abstract

The text seeks to discuss a poetics that engages with literary experiences in the face of, and in opposition to, the informational saturation that defines the current stage of the Information Age, using Y por mirarlo todo, nada veía by Margo Glantz (2018) as a focal point. The proposal is to debate the aesthetic power inherent in texts that attempt to address the irrationality, from a human perspective, of informational consumption and algorithm-driven social interactions. It is argued that these reflections enable consideration of the processes shaping poetic attempts to express this disarray through liminal and dissident aesthetic resources. Thus, the text sensitive from within the saturation, from within the cold and hollow algorithm driving news and dictating digital interactions.
