The main purpose of this paper is to show the relationship between the modern hero’s ethos and his trajectory, using as base the theories defended by Maingueneau and Vogler respectively. Therefore, for this analysis we will demonstrate the route traveled by the protagonist of the literary and filmic series Harry Potter, especially in his first book call Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone. Following those analysis already mentioned, all heroes or most of them, carry in his history aspects that can be easily identified by the reader and at same time, are those elements that making that kind of reader be also an integrates subject in the process of interaction with the writer’s work, accepting the character, as he or she acts. The picture that the subject and its reception is allowing his/her acceptance or refusal. Therefore, the Harry Potter’s ethos is leading to the identification with the writer’s work, because the reader already has a preconceived image of the hero’s archetype and makes it’s plausible for the whole trajectory that will be conquered by him.Downloads
