Abstract

Jean-Luc Nancy, one of the most influential philosophers of today, is part of a group to some extent antagonistic. Marked by Heidegger's phenomenology, for a certain Hegelianism and the grounds of literary criticism of Maurice Blanchot, Nancy is coming from philosophers like Derrida and Philippe Lacoue-Labarthe. He teaches philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy, Science of Language and Communication at the University of Strasbourg. Author of several works, his thoughts are evoked by quotations from scholarly works in many different areas. In this study, without attempting to exhaust the subject, we will discuss art, poetry and literature in light of the thought of Nancy, also featuring, when needed, the help of other established names.
