This article proposes to consider the beginning of meaning through a mutual comparison between the philosophy of Jean Luc-Nancy and the ramifications and implications of considering the triad “thing, meaning, significance” in the light of set theory deriving numerical mathematics. An attempt to deconstruct the search for the source is intended to facilitate further reading of the idea and constructions of meaning, analyzing cosmogenic myths among both Tupinambás as in Jorge Luis Borges, and Bahamut.
