This study undertakes a possible reading, or looking, of the work Palomar, written by Ítalo Calvino, situated in the postmodern scenario. The narrative emphasizes the sense of sight in literary creation, transforming it into critical fiction, as it points to categories of analysis that are valued in post modernity: fragmentation, storytelling, reading, authorship, identity, virtual reality, among others.
