The study in question speculates about the changing nature of human beings when they experience the feeling of abandonment, taking as its object the paradoxical character of Caio Fernando Abreu in Os sapatinhos vermelhos. We intend to pay attention to the relationship established between experienced the void and trying to rebel against the time wasted. We delved towards the experiences of depression and transgression to pain. To do so, we used as theoretical basis thoughts of St. Augustine, Barthes, Kierkegaard, Kristeva and Peres. However, it is the fictional (and visceral) discourse of Caio Fernando Abreu that serves us as North.Downloads
