Subaltern and the speech as resistance: a double subordination, poor and imprisoned

Abstract

This article analyzes the work Memoirs of a Survivor, Luiz Alberto Mendes, to have been produced on the prison experience; he puts himself in testimonial literature condition, the author assumes a condition of subaltern. The construction of this work it is performed by memory resources and fits what is denominated testimonial literature.
