Subaltern and the speech as resistance: a double subordination, poor and imprisoned

This article analyzes the work Memoirs of a Survivor, Luiz Alberto Mendes, to have been produced on the prison experience; he puts himself in testimonial literature condition, the author assumes a condition of subaltern. The construction of this work it is performed by memory resources and fits what is denominated testimonial literature. Is therefore literary work propitious TO STUDY Memory and sociology, as preserves itself, Beyond the Own Literary Feature, numerous other interpretive possibilities. It brings the memory and the author's own life story elements, telling the critical moments experienced by him in childhood, suffocated by his father as a teenager, enclosed in reformatories , and his adulthood, in a prison in São Paulo.
