Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze distinctive characteristics of the Argentinian re­view Los Libros (1969-1976), paying attention to its links with contemporary outcomes from the French intellectual field. In particular, this essay looks upon the significance of Tel Quel group regard­ing the criticism as well as the political conception and orientation of the Argentinian publication. With this aim, on one hand, the coexistence of two opposites tendencies in Los Libros beginning is explored, and on the other hand, a review of its political and theoretical positions is made.
