Abstract

The Arturo magazine brings to the scene, in 1944, the nonrepresentative concretism in the vanguards of Rio de la Plata, facing the first Peronist government, a representative force par excellence. Henceforth, the debate of political representation with non-artistic representation has had some significant emergencies. This paper explores two possible emergencies of this constellation: the magazine El Cielo (briefly examining the subsequent course of its editors, César Aira and Arturo Carrera) and the editorial and sometimes clandestine work of Rodolfo Walsh in the Semanario de la CGT de los argentinos, in Cadena Informativa and in the newspaper Noticias, from Montoneros. The popular insurgencies of 1969, the Cordobazo above all, transform these two routes and the debate inaugurated in 1944 by Arturo in such a way that it acquires other drifts.
