Abstract

Dora Ferreira da Silva. Carlos Drummond de Andrade: two poetic voices reverberating in A porta and A casa do tempo perdido, respectively, the lyrical encounter with the themes of time, death, mourning. The poets, both elegiac, enact a metaphysical look through a poetic diction that stresses the image and sound as scripts of represented silence and appeal. By representation, there is the affirmation, by distance, by time, of the affirmation of life and death in its fullness through the relics of memory.
