É possível pensar em comum?

No início da primavera de 2019 passei algumas semanas meditando sobre o tema aglutinador do curso que pretendia oferecer, durante o primeiro semestre letivo de 2020, no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Literatura da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). Hesitava entre duas opções, que na verdade poderiam muito bem ser colocadas em relação, a depender de como abordadas, para pensar dilemas, ou crises, subjacentes a processos estéticos – logo políticos – inerentes aos tensos desdobramentos da modernidade ocidental, posto repercutirem práticas e processos de fazer, sentir e pensar literaturas e artes, e por extensão modos, formas e organizações de vida potencializadas por elas, mas também controladas por discursos e demais dispositivos disciplinadores, sobretudo a partir do final do século XVIII.
