Abstract

Cathartes burrovianus, lesses yellow-headed vulture, presentes a wide geographic distribution in Latin America and is considered rare species in State of Santa Catarina. This work aims at contributing to the knowledge about the geographic distribution of this bird in Santa Catarina State. On July 15th, 1999, a specimen was observed in the city of Ouro, Santa Catarina State.
