Abstract
The prolonged juvenile phase makes it difficult to obtain seeds for propagation from several woody angiosperms of the Atlantic Rain Forest, damaging the fight against the loss of ecosystem biodiversity. This paper reports on successful recent research related to precocius flowering induction and seed production increase, in eucalyptus trees, suggesting that similar results could be obtained in other woody antiosperms. It is recommended that the efficiency of the method on Atlantic Rain Forest woody angiosperms trees should be tested.Downloads
