Abstract
This research was carried out at the Planalto Experiment Station, to study the effect of pesticides against the citrus snaw scale, in "Valência" orange orchard. The treatments were: mineral oil, malathiom, malathiom plus mineral oil, lambdacyhalothrin, lambdacyhalothrin plus mineral oil and control. The population was estimated 14 and 28 days after the pulverization of the products. On each plant, one areas of 6cm² was marked on the infested stems, one day before spraying. samples from these areas were collected to estimate the population of U. citri after the pulverization. From the results we can conclude that all products were efficient in controling Unaspis citri.Downloads
