Abstract

In this first study regarding the aquatic microbiota of the National Park Aparados da Serra, the heterotrophic protists identified, until the present moment, are presented. Representativer of the following genera were identified: Arcella Ehrenberg, 1830, Difflugia Leclerc, 1815, Centropyxis Stein, 1857, Cyclopyxis Deflandre, 1929, Lesquereusia Schulumberger, 1845, Sentor Oken, 1815, Vorticella Linnaeus, 1767 and Paramecium Müller, 1773. Later diversity, uniformity and richness analyses of species were accomplished.
