Work and action: the discussion between Bakunin and Marx and your contribuition for a contemporary critical sociology

Abstract

The present article thinks about Bakunin-Marx political and theoretical confrontation, focusing theirs different conceptions of the revolution and labor. We understand that the sociology of the labor studies starting from economical-philosophical questions that has significant political effects and that the interpretation of class condition and action (economic, ideological) of the proletariat and peasant derived of different concepts of “labor”. In addition, this confrontation have been fundamental for the history of the social theories and for the working class development around the world. The article seeks to demonstrate how these differences (between Marx and Bakunin) influenced the history of the international working class and socialist movement, and to determine the contributions of theirs confrontation to contemporary sociology of labor and working class organization.
