Marxism and the State: a brief theoretical reconstruction

Abstract

From the controversy of Bobbio in relation to the alleged lack of a Marxist theory of the state, this article aims to rescue the main contributions of the authors referenced in Marxism, they theorized on said object (the state) and contributed substantial way to the advancement of knowledge in the area. Using the literature review procedure, the first section presents a general gathering of the main contributions made since Marx, through Lenin, Gramsci and Poulantzas, reaching the major contemporary references. In the second section seeks to provide a little more thoroughly systematized theory by Lenin, who eventually constituting a fundamental classic in which were built the following postulations.
