Digital Preservation

The journal Em Debate is hosted on the UFSC Journal Portal, which ensures the preservation of its digital content in two ways: internally and externally. Backups are performed daily on dedicated servers located in three separate locations, one of which is in a secure room. The content is also preserved by the Brazilian Network of Digital Preservation Services (Rede Cariniana). As an initiative of the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT), Rede Cariniana is part of Stanford University’s Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe (LOCKSS) program.
