O artigo propõe-se a analisar detidamente as críticas recentemente levantadas por David Velleman àlegalização da eutanásia. Para tanto, parte-se das diversas formulações de suas conclusões e verifi ca-sede modo crítico qual o poder de seus argumentos para chegar até elas, centrando-se na argumentaçãode tipo consequencialista.
