Romina Rekers, University of Graz

Romina Rekers es becaria postdoctoral en el Departamento de Filosofía de la Universidad de Graz, Austria, donde dirige el proyecto “A Political Conception of Transitional Justice”, financiado por el FWF (Fondo Austriaco para la Ciencia). Su investigación ha contado con el apoyo de becas del Consejo Argentino para Investigaciones Científicas y Tecnológicas (CONICET) y de la Academia Austríaca de Ciencias (ÖAW). Actualmente, también trabaja como investigadora asociada en el proyecto project “Global Health Justice: Duties of International Cooperation for Infectious Disease Control” en el Oxford-Johns Hopkins Global Infectious Disease Ethics Collaborative (GLIDE). Directora del área Ética, Derechos y Bienes Públicos de la Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) desde el 2012 y del Programa Bioética (FLACSO) desde el año 1996 hasta la actualidad. Directora del Centro Colaborativo de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) y de la Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS) desde 2016. Presidenta de la red de Centros Colaborativos de la OMS-OPS (2020-2022). Experta en numerosas ocasiones para la OMS (desde 1998) y la OPS (desde 2016). Presidente de la International Asociation of Bioethics (IAB) (2003-2005). Fellow de la John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation (2006-2007). Premio Konex en ética (2006).
