Resumen

This paper describes and discusses the educational strategies developed at the meetings carried out by the Extension Project “Health Education as an Exercise for Social Inclusion”. The objective of the project is to stimulate the individuals or groups to reflect about their life style and its impact on the construction of a healthy environment. For that, seven meetings were carried out in schools and groups of communities inside and outside the Federal University of Santa Catarina. It was possible to divide the meetings during the 2009 year in three classes: (a) punctual meeting for a diverse public, (b) punctual meeting for a specific public and (c) caring meeting for a specific group. It was verified that the activities with a higher number of meetings and interaction with the community favored the development of its educational diagnostic for the action plans and the concretization of the Project’s objectives.
