Implicação da oscilação El Niño sobre taxas de expansão de voçorocas em estações experimentais no sul do Brasil: 1995-1998

Abstract

Gully erosion extension rates were obtained from field experimental sites, from 1995 to 1998, in the Southern Brazilian States of Paraná and Santa Catarina. By coincidence, this period was marked by the El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO), influencing local erosion rates. This paper discusses the effects of ENSO upon the risk of high erosion rates on rural and urban sites.
