A modernização agrícola e o uso de técnicas de geoprocessamento no uso da terra em dois distritos de Palmeira das Missões-RS

Abstract

The agricultural modernization process, which occurred in RS on 60s and 70s decades, generated significant transformations as in the agricultural production system as in the spatial reorganization of areas turned on primary section. This research chose as study laboratory two districts of Palmeira das Missões-RS municipality, which are Santa Terezinha and São Bento. The research methodology was based on the fulfillment of the bibliographic surveys and on field work. Parallemt, was used some geoprocessing techniques as support, in order to verify the current uses and occupations of the land in districts. As final considerations, while Santa Terezinha district is characterized for small properties predominanting the substantial agriculture, in São Bento district predominate the medium and big properties having its economy based on soybean export.
