Abstract

The research in economical geography has known a revival
since the last decade; we even identify it as a “new economical geography”. Globalisation, metropolization, formation of free-trade zones, international exchange, articulation of the global and the local are all themes at the centre of the preoccupation of the spatial economy. But the globalisation does not necessarily equates with homogenisation of the spaces. The notion of territory resurges in the economical analyses since the territories offer specific resources, which are untransferable and incomparable on the market. These specific resources diversify the areas and stabilize the emplacement of the economic activities. In the next years, probably one of the main subject of research for the economic analysis will be the study of the procedures of revelation and development of the new resources issued from the uniqueness of the spaces and human groups in a context where information logic dominates the service economy.
