Territory and fishing grounds: notes on the brazilian and chilean experiences

These notes cover aspects of management in the Chilean and Brazilian fishing industry. The aim is to produce a brief characterization of the fishing industry within these two countries dealing with territorial mores of the use of marine areas present in the organization of the fishing industry and to provide a comparative base to reflect on the Brazilian fishing industry. It deals with some mores of the use of resources and marine areasapparent in the management of the fishing industry within the two countries that indicate a centralization of the territorial category as a management instrument of the fishing industry.Downloads
