Abstract

Discussions involving notions, concepts and theories of social class, race, ethnicity, prejudice, discrimination, equality / difference (inequality) social, among others, often cause difficulties and doubts among researchers who need these skills to seek understanding of their object of research. Most of the dimensions in which we live in society, in one way or another, will be linked to social hierarchy. The object of this text is to African descent in the context of ethnicity as forming potential of social class, according to the postulates settled by Poulantzas (1986), Poliakov (1974), Poutignat & Streiff-Fernart (1998). Understanding that it is only possible if there are appropriate inserts from black social movements, because these are the subjects of the action. It has been the main objective to understand the trainers parameters of social classes beyond the economic sphere (centered on the production of capitalist relations), finding other perspectives on ethnicity of recognition among African descent as a possibility for organization of the subjects of the black social movement.
