This article examines the evolution of climate change, originally perceived as an environmental issue, into a complex challenge with political and economic implications on a broader international scale. It explores how climate justice has been interpreted and utilized by researchers, activists, and policymakers. The study is based on a systematic literature review that investigates the multiple facets of climate justice. The method includes the definition of a research protocol and the careful selection of relevant articles. This article contributes to an in-depth understanding of justice in the context of climate change and highlights the importance of conceptual alignment to advance academic discourse and global environmental policies.
