El papel del brics en el ascenso chino en la economía-mundo capitalista: el consenso internacional como elemento necesario para la hegemonía

Resumen

La investigación analiza cómo el BRICS acomoda los intereses chinos en la economía-mundo capitalista. El objetivo es comprender de qué manera el grupo puede contribuir a un posible próximo Ciclo Sistémico de Acumulación liderado por China. Se examinan las Declaraciones de las Cumbres del BRICS, los Planes Quinquenales y los Informes del Congreso del Partido Comunista de China desde 2011. La hipótesis plantea que, a través del BRICS, China construye consenso internacional, un elemento necesario para la hegemonía. El grupo refuerza la política exterior china al proyectar la imagen de un país en desarrollo preocupado por la periferia y dispuesto a asumir un papel activo en la gobernanza global. En este proceso, China ofrece bienes públicos internacionales como estabilidad económica, seguridad, protección ambiental e infraestructura.

Ester Gruppelli Kurz, Universidad Federal de Santa Catarina

Doctoranda en Relaciones Internacionales por la Universidad Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), máster en Ciencia Política y graduada en Relaciones Internacionales, ambos por la Universidad Federal de Pelotas (UFPel). Actualmente es miembro del Grupo de Investigación Economía, Política y Desarrollo Internacional (EPDI) y del Grupo de Investigación en Economía Política de los Sistemas-Mundo (GPEPSM).

Doutor em Relações Internacionais pelo Programa San Tiago Dantas (UNESP, UNICAMP, PUC-SP). Professor e pesquisador no curso de Relações Internacionais e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência Política da Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel). Líder do Grupo de Pesquisa Economia, Política e Desenvolvimento Internacional (EPDI – UFPel).
