Abstract

Goal: To present a system dynamics approach based on cause and effect analysis and feedback loop structures simulating future scenarios for the improvement of urban mobility in greater Florianópolis. Design: Some future scenarios with System Dynamics were simulated, envisioning improvements in urban mobility in the metropolitan region of Florianopolis. Results: It was possible to simulate situations with an emphasis on 4 factors: traffic jams with and without an increase in population, demand for transport, desired vehicles in traffic and finally the flow of urban mobility. Originality: The use of simulations with system dynamics emerges as an original and innovative tool and can foresee problems and guide managers in decision-making. Models like the one built for this article are dynamic tools that allow you to responsibly improve administrative machine usage.
