Molibdenium source applied in soybean for seeds treatment
Abstract
The role of micronutrients in the mineral nutrition of plants is well-know, molibdenium support assimilation and use of nitrogen to the soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merril). The current work was to evaluate the efficacy from differents sources of molybdenum (Nectar, Molybdate, MIQL-Mo) on the growth, development and effects on the productivity of cultivar BR-16. The experiment was conducted during the 1997/1998 growing season in the field crop Department of the Federal University at Santa Maria, RS, on a Paleudalf soil. The treatments were three sources of molybdenum applying compared with a control group into natural tillage conditions. The results showed that the molybdenum applying by means of seed, independence of the sources used, improve the seedling soybean emergence, increased the mass of 1000 and grain production of the soybean. The differences of grain productivity among the molybdenum sources that were studied, demonstrate the great progress proportioned by the use of the best technology at the micronutrients utilization and the tillage handling.Downloads
