According to Jacques Aumont, the emergency of the cinema promoted a dynamic way of looking, not only because the cinematographic images capture the movement of first, but also because they potentiate the variation point of view, frameworks, angles and distances. Due to this dynamic way, which was developed mainly with the montage techniques, the cinematographic language may be characterized as multiperspectival. Based on these assumptions, this paper seeks to investigate how the multiplicity of perspectives brought by the “seventh art” has been incorporated by literature, artistic expression that cinema has always established fruitful dialogues. As will be evident, diegetic structure of literary works becomes dynamic in that it has several narrators, each of which holds a point of view. Under the Brazilian literature, it is emphasized, in this paper, the narrative multiperspectivism in Relato de um certo Oriente, by Milton Hatoum, a novel in which there are five narrators, whose speeches are organized similarly to the montage inverted developed by the cinema.
