Código: a presentation
Abstract
Código é o título de um poema visual de Augusto de Campos, datado 1973 que, segundo Miriam Silvia Shwartz Brenner, em seu ensaio “‘Código’: leitura de um poema de Augusto de Campos”, reabre a discussão de algumas questões fundamentais relacionadas aos movimentos de vanguarda dos anos 60, sobretudo ligados à Poesia Concreta. E aponta para a vinculação destas vanguardas a um tronco de tradição literária ligado à visualidade, cujas raízes remontam aos primórdios da civilização ocidental”. Afirmando que a literatura visual é praticada no Ocidente, com intermitências, desde pelo menos 300 anos a.C., Miriam Brenner parte para uma reflexão semiótica através de uma leitura diacrônica da palavra (C-O-D-I-G-O) e de outra sincrônica do desenho. A ensaísta se utiliza ainda das várias acepções do vocábulo para remeter “às funções da linguagem como mediadora do processo de comunicação”.Downloads
