Market and Culture Versus Poetry
Abstract
Em se tratando de arte, a pior crise é a da qualidade. Na atualidade, a proliferação da má poesia — sob sua forma estrita: o poema — chega a ser excessiva. Trata-se certamente de um fenômeno global. Em escala alternativa, nunca foi tão fácil publicar. Os armazéns virtuais de poemas, via internet, têm suas inúmeras janelas abertas para o mundo. As grandes editoras, que poderiam editar e distribuir autores marginalizados representativos, não fogem, por sua vez, à dura lei do grande mercado: o lucro sempre em primeiro plano. Mas, mais grave que a proliferação de poetas insípidos, é uma certa visão — e uma larga vigência — que usurpam quase todo o espaço das mais autênticas manifestações artísticas, ou que, em outro plano, parecem negar a própria existência da obra de arte, na perspectiva que lhe é própria.Downloads
